Here’s what’s in your box: Beef and Onion Tree Herb Mountain Mint Microgreens Red Cabbage Beef and Onion Tree Sowing info Sow at any time of the year. Sow in pots of moist, peat free compost at a depth of 1cm and place in a propagator or warm place. Maintain an optimum temperature of 20-25C and germination should take place in 30 days, but could take longer so remain patient. Growing info Overwinter at a temperature down to 5C. Harden off saplings and plant out when all risk of frost has passed in a sunny spot with well drained soil. Herb Mountain Mint Sowing info Sow seeds indoors 0.5cm deep, in pots or trays of peat free compost and lightly cover the seeds with a sprinkling of compost, and place at a temperature of 20°C. Germination can be erratic taking from 2 weeks to 3 months. Can be sown in Autumn to overwinter in the greenhouse or coldframe. Growing info When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 9cm pots to grow on. Harden off the plants before planting out where they are to grow after all risk of frost has passed. Cut leaves as required for eating. Final height 1.5m. Place in a warm, light place such as a windowsill and keep moist but not waterlogged. Growing info Sprouts should appear in 6-10 days and be ready to harvest in less than 2 weeks. Harvest when shoots are 3-5 cm tall, cutting with scissors 1 cm above the root base. Sow every 10 days for a continuous supply.
