We base all our recommendations and growing advice on our own trials and experience and our network of trial growers across the UK. We aren’t allowed to ship outside the UK and also can’t ship to Ireland due to DEFRA regulations.
All of our tomatoes with the exception of the micro tomatoes can be grown outside. Be careful not to put them outside too early though as frost will damage the plants. Make sure the tomatoes are supported and in a sunny spot and they will be more abundant if you feed them regularly with a liquid seaweed feed.

Open-pollinated seeds are pollinated by a natural process in which plants reproduce by allowing pollinators (such as bees, butterflies, wind or other natural elements) to transfer pollen between flowers within the same species. Unlike hybrid methods (sometimes marked as F1 on seed packets), there’s no human intervention or specific breeding programmes. Take a look at our blog HERE to find out more.
Our range of seeds is entirely open pollinated and we don’t stock any hybrids.
Yes they are! Take a look at our blog HERE which explains why we think they’re simply wonderful!
The two terms – heirloom and heritage – are interchangeable, heritage being the more colloquial British term and heirloom being the more globally recognised term and the term more often used by chefs. An heirloom variety should have a history of 50 years or more. If it is a product of more recent breeding, it is called a modern heirloom. Take a look at our blog HERE to find out more.
Yes you can. All of our seed varieties last at least 2 years if stored correctly. Please see our seed storage advice HERE that tells you how best to preserve your seeds.

They last from 2-6 years depending on the variety. Longevity depends on how you store them. HERE is a blog on how best to store your seeds.
