Extremely frost hardy and easy to grow, this 1850’s classic grows big, bold, and beautiful with buttery soft tender green leaves. Named for the multiple smooth heads produced down the stems that will regrow once picked, it is a short-lived perennial lasting 3-5 years. This variety proves that sometimes, bigger is better.
