Ornamental Grass Quaking Grass (Briza)

Sowing info

Sow indoors from February or directly outside from April. Sow thinly into moist compost and cover very lightly. Keep at 15–20°C, germination takes 14–21 days. If growing indoors, transplant seedlings once large enough to handle and acclimatise before planting out.

Growing info

Space plants 20–25cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Water until established, then only through dry spells. Cut regularly for use in fresh or dried displays. Plant will die back once flowering has finished. Final height 60cm.
