Perennial Nodding Onion

£3.50

Native to the great plains of America and Canada, this perennial onion is a beautiful sight. Producing pale pink flowers that ‘nod’ from the tip of the stem, if left unharvested it produces clumps of bulbs that grow bigger as time goes on. With a delicious onion flavour, bulbs and lower stalks can be used in stir-fries; green leaves can be finely chopped and added to salads; flowers can be used as garnish. This heirloom plant will even thrive in full shade so a great choice for a tricky spot.

Average 20 seeds.
