Sowing info

Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing in pots of peat free compost. Sow around 1 cm deep and keep the compost consistently moist. Place in a warm, bright spot (24 – 29 °C). Germination can take 2-4 months, so patience and gentle care are key, germination is erratic so sow more than you need.

Growing info

Keep plants indoors or in a heated greenhouse, with bright, indirect light. Fertilise lightly in spring and summer. With consistent care, expect fragrant blooms in 3 – 4 years, followed by the first coffee cherries to enjoy or admire.
