Niwaki Sharpening Stone

£22.00

Sharp secateurs make clean cuts, and clean cuts heal faster, which keeps your plants healthier. This little sharpening stone from Niwaki is made in Osaka, Japan, and is designed to keep your blades in top shape.

It’s made specially for secateurs, but it also works well on shears, topiary clippers and anything else with an edge. The underside is slightly curved to fit the blade of Niwaki secateurs perfectly, so you get the angle right every time. The flat faces are ideal for shears and for smoothing off the burr on the back of the blade once you’re done.

It’s small enough to reach tight spots, so you can sharpen right along the blade. The #1000 grit is a fine stone for regular sharpening, and if you only buy one stone, Niwaki says it should be this one.
