This little tiger of a melon is almost too good looking to eat. Just 7-10cm in size, it’s the ultimate single serving heirloom melon, just tuck in and scoop at it with your spoon! It has a wonderful aroma sweet as a honey dew. Flesh is slightly firmer than most melons meaning it stores well and is at its best when slightly overripe. Enormously productive.

Sow indoors in late spring. Sow 1cm deep in small pots using peat free compost. Keep moist at all times. Keep temperatures above 21C, germination usually takes 6 to 10 days. Grow on in good light at around 15 to 18C before planting out when all risk of frost has passed.
Will perform best in an unheated greenhouse or polytunnel. Soil and air temperatures must have warmed up and all risk of frost passed. Train your melons with sturdy support or even over an arch as this is a smaller variety. These melons pick themselves and drop when ripe.
