Producing delicious, sweet berries in abundance, Physalis Golden Berry is an easy-to-grow exotic perennial heirloom originating from S. America. The juicy fruits have a pineapple tang and a tomato-like texture. Notably rich in Vitamins C and B3, enjoy them fresh off the plant to garnish salads and desserts or dried and used like raisins. Can be stored several weeks.

Sow the seed February to April indoors, just covering them lightly and germinate at a temperature of 15 C to 30 C. Though they are fast growing, they can be slow to germinate, so be patient. When all risk of frost is passed and the soil is warm, harden off and plant in their final positions.
This tender plant should be grown in a sunny, sheltered position. Plants thrive in free draining soil and should not be fertilised as this encourages leafy growth at the expense of fruit. Once established this plant will require little to no care and will produce an abundance of fruit.

If you would like to return your seeds, you can do so within 14 days of receiving them. All seed packs must be returned fully sealed and in their original packaging and state. When we receive your return, we will issue a refund within 7 working days if the packs are in good order.
Returns postage cost must be paid for yourself.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns due to germination issues because there are too many variables involved in growing. We carefully monitor our germination rates to offer the highest quality seeds possible to our customers.
