Sowing info

Best sown direct for the straightest roots, in stone free, well-drained soil. Space 5 cm apart in rows 25 cm apart. Germination takes around 5 – 10 days. Keep soil moist and thin seedlings to 10 – 15 cm apart once established

Growing info

Keep well watered through dry periods to prevent bolting. Harvest roots when 5-7 cm across. Young greens are also delicious. May require netting from butterflies.
