Growing Information

SOWING INFO

Best sown direct from early spring as soon as the soil has warmed. Germination will usually take 5 to 7 days.  Sow at a depth of 1cm in shallow drills and keep moist. Protect young seedlings from birds. In the south of the UK it is best to avoid sowing in the hottest weeks of summer as radishes are likely to bolt in these conditions.

GROWING INFO

As roots swell, harvest the largest roots to allow more room for others to grow larger. Succession sowing every 2-4 weeks will ensure a continual supply. Autumn sowings should be made undercover.
