A vibrant Japanese heirloom soya bean perfect for snacking or adding to summer salads. Bursting with flavour, these plump, bright green beans are easy to grow and a joy to harvest straight from your garden. A cheerful, protein-packed addition to any veggie patch.

Sow seeds 2 cm deep into pots or trays or direct where they are to grow after last frost. Keep at 18–20°C, germination takes 5 – 10 days. Harden off before planting out after last frost. Space seedlings 15–20 cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny spot.
Feed regularly with a balanced fertiliser and water during dry spells. Support taller plants with canes if needed. Pods are ready to pick when fully swollen but still bright green. Harvest regularly to encourage continuous production.
