Think candyfloss for the garden – these cosmos burst with frilly, double blooms in the sweetest shade of pink. They’re the frothy cousins of the cosmos family, bringing cottage-garden charm and armfuls of cut flowers for vases all summer long.

Sow indoors before the last frost, or direct after last frost. Sprinkle the seeds onto moist compost and cover lightly with a dusting of soil. Keep at around 18 – 21°C germination takes 1–2 weeks. Pinch out the tips at 15cm tall to encourage bushy plants.
Pot on seedlings as necessary. Harden off gradually before planting out after last frost, spaced around 30 – 40cm apart. Low maintenance once established, keep harvesting and deadheading to prolong flowering, and provide support if needed. Final height 90cm.
