A pledge to nature

We try very hard to be environmentally conscious here at She Grows Veg. We have a number of things in place to ensure that we are doing our bit for the planet.

Good growing

We think that as a society we have a big problem that we’re not looking after ourselves or our environment well enough. Growing your own food kills two birds with one stone. It nourishes you and your family with the best ingredients and reduces food miles, packaging and waste all in one solution.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible grow their own for this reason but also to do this in a responsible way as a business.

We don’t stop there

It’s not just our growing techniques where we implement environmentally friendly practices…

Our packaging for postage is made from recycled materials and is recyclable.
We work with local businesses to reduce mileage. Our seed packing company for example is based in Suffolk in the same county as our HQ. All of our other suppliers such as accountants, marketing and business support are also all from Suffolk.
Our printed marketing materials are printed on recycled paper and are recyclable.
We don’t print a catalogue.
We choose the Royal Mail for our delivery service as they have a strong commitment to electric vehicles for the deliveries.
Our gift bags are made from 100% cotton and are compostable or reusable – take your pick.
