Kalibos is a sweet flavoured, pointed red cabbage producing vibrant purple heads that weigh around 2kg. Because of its heat tolerance it is a great choice for summer growing. Delicious shredded raw in salads and slaws.

Sow in module trays throughout spring and summer at a depth of 10mm to ensure a continuous crop. Germination takes around a week. Transplant when large enough to handle, allowing 50cm between plants each way.
Keep well watered especially in dry weather. Will benefit from being netted with fine insect mesh due to the higher number of pest present when growing cabbages in summer.Â
