An unusual and rare heirloom broccoli from Italy grown for its long and delicious ribbony leaves as opposed to the flower sprouts. The dark green leaves are full of flavour and perfect steamed or stir fried as a nutritious accompaniment to any meal.

Sow seed at a depth of 1cm, does not need extra heat to germinate. Plants can be transplanted to their final positions approximately 5 weeks from sowing.
When transplanting, plant it deeper in the ground to ensure a sturdy stem. Plant at a distance of 60cm apart and cover with a protective netting or fleece to prevent attack from birds and insects. Water the plants thoroughly after planting. Exceptionally hardy and requires little aftercare.
