This gorgeous curly kale has gorgeous frizzy leaves with a snow white centre that makes it almost too good to eat but not quite! It’s just as happy in an ornamental border or on a dinner plate, adding sophistication to your side dish. Highly frost resistant, it’s a great heirloom crop during UK winter. Grow it alongside Kale Jardin Crimson for colour contrast.

Sow seed at a depth of 1cm, does not need extra heat to germinate. Kale plants can be transplanted to their final positions approximately 5 weeks from sowing
When transplanting kale, plant it deeper in the ground to ensure a sturdy stem. Plant kale at a distance of 60cm apart and cover with a protective netting or fleece to prevent attack from birds and insects. Water the plants thoroughly after planting. Kale is exceptionally hardy and requires little aftercare.
