We love this herb that has the usual thyme scent with overtones of citrusy orange. Orangelo creates a bushy fragrant groundcover or can be grown in containers as an edimental, produces tiny white blushed flowers. Perfect for using fresh or dying.

Sow indoors. The seed is very fine so be careful. Sprinkle seed thinly on the surface of already moist peat free compost and do not cover. Place ideally in a heated propagator and keep at around 20C. Seed should germinate in 2 weeks.
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 9cm pots to grow on. Harden off the plants before planting out where they are to grow after all risk of frost has passed. Once established requires little care.
