Surface sow onto moist compost and lightly cover with a fine layer of soil or vermiculite. Keep at 18–21°C. Germination takes 14–21 days. Pot on seedlings as necessary. Harden off gradually before planting out after last frost.
Plant in groups of 3 or 4 plants with 30cm between groups. Deadhead regularly to encourage continued flowering. Ideal for borders, cottage gardens, and cutting — the blooms smell divine in vases. Final height 50cm.
