Growing Information

Sowing info

Surface sow as light is needed for germination. Keep at 20–24°C, germination in 5–20 days but can be slow and irregular. If no germination occurs, put in the fridge for 2–4 weeks before returning to warmth, repeating if necessary.

Growing info

Pot on seedlings as necessary. Harden off gradually before planting out after last frost, spaced around 45cm apart. Water regularly after planting, drought tolerant and low maintenance once established. Harvest or deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Cut back and mulch in winter. Divide clumps every 3 – 4 years to maintain vigour. Final height 100cm.
