Sow indoors 6 – 8 weeks before last frost, sprinkle onto moist compost and just cover. Keep at 18–21°C, and you can expect germination in 1 – 2 weeks.
Pot on seedlings as necessary. Harden off gradually before planting out after last frost, spaced around 30cm apart. Keep well watered in dry spells and feed every few weeks for abundant, long-lasting flowers. Rotate asters each year to prevent ‘Aster Yellows’ disease. Final height 60cm.
