Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, or directly outdoors after last frost. Sow 0.5-1cm deep into well-drained compost, and keep at 20–24°C. Germination takes 5–10 days then grow on in cooler conditions. Pot on seedlings as necessary. Harden off gradually before planting out after last frost, with 30–40cm spacing.
Water and feed consistently, and harvest or deadhead regularly to encourage more blooms. Final height 90cm.
