A real head-turner – no two flowers are the same, and every bloom brings a surprise. Expect bold red petals streaked with crisp white, snowy flowers dipped in burgundy, and plenty of striking bicolour patterns in between.

Sow indoors before the last frost, or direct after last frost. Sprinkle the seeds onto moist compost and cover lightly with a dusting of soil. Keep at around 18 – 21°C germination takes 1–2 weeks. Pinch out the tips at 15cm tall to encourage bushy plants.
Pot on seedlings as necessary. Harden off gradually before planting out after last frost, spaced around 30 – 40cm apart. Low maintenance once established, keep harvesting and deadheading to prolong flowering, and provide support if needed. Final height 90cm.
