Sow seed 1 cm deep and keep the soil lightly moist and the temperature around 15 C until germination. Plant out after all risk of frost has passed.Growing infoThin seedlings to roughly 10 cm spacing, thinnings can be enjoyed in salads. Sow seeds very thinly on the surface of peat free compost, then just cover and maintain an optimum temperature of 15-20C. Once passed the small seedlings stage, these are very hardy plants that can live outdoors year round.
