She Grows Veg at Chelsea Flower Show 2024

This May we are digging up our roots and popping up temporarily in London for the Chelsea Flower Show 2024, bringing our ‘Edimental’ heirloom veg exhibit to life for the very first time and rubbing shoulders with fabulous floral displays and leaders in cutting-edge garden design.

Since our launch in November last year, we’ve been overwhelmed by all of the wonderful growers who have been buying our seeds. We can’t wait to bring the heirloom seed range to the many attendees of the show, which is the pinnacle of the gardener’s calendar.

Hazel Gardiner

Our ‘Edimental’ exhibit was the brainchild of She Grows Veg’s Kate and Lucy. The exhibit will be brought to life with the help of florist to the stars and broadcaster Hazel Gardener. The She Grows Veg exhibit will be a beautiful, opulent and inspirational presentation that features signature heirloom varieties of vegetables in a rainbow of colours presented in a modern twist on Renaissance paintings. We aim to show vegetables in a way they haven’t been seen before at a flower show before.

She Grows Veg

Promising to be the greenest show yet, this year’s Chelsea Flower Show will place an even stronger focus on sustainability, giving us the perfect opportunity to share our belief that to eat the best ingredients, we should all be growing them!

Visitors to the Chelsea Flower Show’s Great Pavilion will be able to gain some top tips from our fantastic team on growing food, as well as be inspired to try something new. The She Grows Veg exhibit will be launched on press day with the help of renowned chef Raymond Blanc OBE. The collaboration was born out of a shared belief that to cook with the very best of ingredients; the only option is to grow them yourself, an approach reflected in Raymond Blanc’s incredible kitchen garden at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, Oxfordshire.

Sophie Powell

Sophie will be creating edible floral crowns for the Chelsea Flower Show

The ‘Edimental’ exhibit is situated in the Great Pavillion at the show in a spot at the heart of the area next to David Austin Roses. We will encourage visitors to become part of the art with a vegetable-adorned selfie frame, the perfect backdrop to create a memento from the day to share with family and friends. Visitors will be able to try on elaborate edible floral crowns created by florist Sophie Powell to ensure the perfect social media-worthy photo opportunity.

We will also be selling our seeds at the event and will have a show-special collection with a recipe from Raymond Blanc and the corresponding seeds.

If you’re coming to the Chelsea Flower Show, come along and say hello!
