We are over the moon to say that we won a gold medal in our very first year exhibiting. We had the most incredible response from the judges and the public alike. On press day Raymond Blanc cooked his wonderful Pistou Soup recipe in the frame which was loved by all! Raymond Blanc OBE, Hazel Gardiner Floral Designer, She Grows Veg Kate and LucyOur ‘Edimental’ exhibit was inspired by Renaissance painters’ portrayals of beautiful fruit and veg. We had 10 antique gilt frames on our display with different curations of vegetables in groupings by colour. Our approach has never been seen before at Chelsea, where traditional veg displays have been in situ for years. We welcomed thousands of visitors and even some famous faces into the frame over the week. Our Selfie FramePhoto Credit: Ellie WalpoleWe welcomed many famous faces to our exhibit during the week, including Joanna Lumley, Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, Trinny Woodall and Rob Brydon. We were proud to donate our spare plants to a fantastic initiative called Re-Use that rehomes plants to community projects, schools and charities to ensure nothing went to waste!Huge thanks to Raymond Blanc and the team at Le Manoir for their amazing support, to Hazel Gardiner our Floral Designer, Sophie Powell the florist who created our flower crowns and Jon Wheatley our mentor. If you missed us at Chelsea, don’t worry, we will be at Hampton Court Garden festival 2-7th July. Out exhibit will feature the same frames plus our brilliant selfie frame, plus our seeds will be for sale with some show deals!See us at Hampton Court in July!RHS Hampton Court Garden Festival 20242-7th JulyTuesday 2 – Saturday 6 July10am – 6.30pmSunday 7 July10am – 5.30pm (sell off of displays begins at 4pm)Buy tickets for Hampton Court Garden FestivalHampton Court PalaceEast MoleseySurreyKT8 9AU Our Chelsea Bestsellers French Bean 1,500 Year Old Cave Bean £4.95 Add to wishlist 171 in stock French Bean 1,500 Year Old Cave Bean quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Melon Rich Sweetness £4.95 Add to wishlist 168 in stock Melon Rich Sweetness quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Autumn Radish Watermelon £3.95 Add to wishlist 171 in stock Autumn Radish Watermelon quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Chicory Rose of Venice £5.50 Add to wishlist 326 in stock Chicory Rose of Venice quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed French Bean Carminat £4.50 Add to wishlist 138 in stock French Bean Carminat quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Tomato Indigo Rose £4.95 Add to wishlist 200 in stock Tomato Indigo Rose quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Swiss Chard Peppermint £3.95 Add to wishlist 278 in stock Swiss Chard Peppermint quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Carrot Gniff £3.95 Add to wishlist 159 in stock Carrot Gniff quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Lettuce Copacabana Baby Leaf £3.25 Add to wishlist 161 in stock Lettuce Copacabana Baby Leaf quantity Add to Trug How to grow this seed Meet the author Kate Kate co-owns She Grows Veg and is very much the business brains of the operation.
