Perennial Spinach New Zealand

That’s right – this spinach is perennial. Called Kokihi in its native New Zealand and Warrigal Greens in Australia, it was apparently eaten by Captain Cook and his crew to prevent scurvy in the 1700s. A trailing plant that can withstand warmer summers without bolting and return each year except after the coldest winters. Can be harvested and cooked like normal spinach.

Average 10 seeds.
